Batana oil is a rich amber to dark brown colored oil derived from the nuts of theĀ Elaeis oleifera palm tree. It has a thick, earthy, and nutty aroma, and is known for its high content of fatty acids and antioxidants. It is also known as American Palm Oil or Miskito oil named after the Miskito people of Honduras, who have traditionally used and produced the oil.
